I’m Rebecca, and I’ve been a primary school teacher for over 10 years. I’ve always been passionate about giving children the best possible start in life — and for me, that includes teaching them real-world skills that will stick with them far beyond their school days.
I never felt prepared to manage money as a young adult. Like so many others, I left school knowing how to find the area of a triangle, but clueless about mortgages, banking, investing, or tax. I had to learn the hard way, through trial and error. That experience gave me the drive to make sure other children don’t have to struggle the same way.
That’s why I started Cash Academy. I’m determined to give children the knowledge and support they need to make sensible, informed choices about money — even from primary age. I believe financial education shouldn’t wait until you’re 18 and facing student loans, credit cards, and buy-now-pay-later offers. It should start early.
Through our immersive workshops, children step into real-life money scenarios — earning, saving, spending, budgeting — in a safe, hands-on, and fun environment that builds confidence and sparks curiosity. I want every child to leave knowing that money isn’t scary, it’s something they can understand and manage.
